Gentlemen Broncos

When I first saw this trailer about a month ago I was not sure what to think. It is written and directed by one of the guys who did Napoleon Dynamite, Jared Hess. There is really no way to explain the movie except by calling it weird. However, it seems oddly enticing. The film does have some things going for it such as Sam Rockwell, who is on the rise to the A list, and a member from Flight of the Conchords (formerly New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo), Jermaine Clement.

While the inside life a unpopular high school teen seems like a dull ride, Sam Rockwell riding a plastic deer shooting rockets looks like an exciting ride. The basic premise of the film is a home-schooled kid who has an interest in fantasy novels writes his own for a contest run a legendary fantasy fiction writer. The writer then steals the kids idea, but makes the main character a trany. Some people are excited and some people don't even know about this films existence, but I had someone send me the trailer earlier today so I decided to post about for them. So judge for yourself and watch the trailer for Gentleman Broncos.
