Fall Movie Season Preview: Kid's Movies

The Holiday season is normally a strong season for kid's movies. You have holiday breaks and family in town, so why not catch a movie. If you do try to see one, make sure it is one of these two.

Must See Kids Film: Fantastic Mr. Fox - Believe me when I say I'm not in love with George Clooney. Sure this is the third film of his I have mentioned, but it is just because he is doing some solid fall movies. This is a claymation film based on the children's book of the same name. Directed by Wes Anderson, it looks to be very well written and some good laughs and should be enjoyable for adults and children. I said the same thing about Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs back in the summer, and I'm saying it again with Fantastic Mr. Fox this fall. Don't miss this movie if you're looking for a fun trip to the theaters with the family or friends.

Honorable Mention: Astro Boy - What Astro Boy has going for itself is an original story. Sure it is a movie based off a comic book and TV series, but they were both Japanese and both highly successful. It also should be a good movie about discovering yourself, which is a great lesson for kids of all ages. This isn't a superhero movie. This is the story about a boy who discovers he has amazing abilities. Astro Boy is a character first and a superhero second, much like Spiderman.

Skip It- Planet 51 - Looks like its full of cheap overused children's jokes.
